You are welcome to GMP 2008!

Here are some updated messages about GMP 2008 that might be useful for you.

* Tentative Program

The tentative program and the list of the accepted papers are available on the website:

This might be useful for coordinating some travel plans plus some potential post/pre conference activities for the participants.

We will have 3 invited talks, 10 paper sessions and 2 poster sessions in two and half days at GMP 2008.

* Half-Day Courses

We will have two course sessions on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 22, 2008. The course sessions are free and open to all the participants. You are welcome to attend the course sessions on April 22, 2008. More information about the courses can be found at:

* Short oral presentations in Poster Sessions

This year, the authors of short papers will have the chance to give a short oral presentation in 3 minutes at the beginning of the poster sessions. Therefore, GMP 2008 encourages short paper authors make nice short presentations and nice posters about their work so that the audiences could be attracted to their posters and discuss with them.

We will contact the authors of the short papers about the details soon.

* Invitation Letter

If you need an official invitation letter to apply for the visa to China, please email us and let us know the following information: Full name, Gender, Nationality, Passport No., full postal address, and email address. We will prepare the invitation letter and visa notice and send to you as soon as possible.

* Conference Registration

Our procedure this year requires that you register for the conference prior to attending the conference. You may register via the web at:
http://www.math.zju.edu.cn/gmp2008/registration.html

You need to pay the registration fee by bank telegraphic transferring according to the message shown in the above webpage. Sorry that we could not accept the fee by credit card. If you have any problem on paying the fee by a bank transfer, please let us know (gmp2008@zju.edu.cn).

* Hotel Reservation

The hotel reservation information can be found via the web at:

We have negotiated with the hotels about the hotel fees. Most of the participants will live in Lifeng Hotel which is the university’s hotel. It is nearest hotel from the university. We can book the room at Lifeng Hotel for you. If you want us to book the hotel for you, please fill in the attached form and send it to us(gmp2008@zju.edu.cn).
