Abstract: In this talk, we pay much more attention on Kosniowski conjecture, saying that for a nonbounding unitary -manifold fixing only isolated points, the number of fixed points is greater than ; in other words, , where denotes the Euler characteristic of . I will talk about a proof of this conjecture. Our approach can automatically be applied to the case of oriented -manifolds, so we also can conclude that for a nonbounding oriented -manifold fixing only isolated points, .
Introduction of Speakers: Lv Zhi, professor of Fudan University, graduate from Fudan University, earned his Ph.D. degree in Japen. He has been working at Fudan Universtiy since come back to nation, assuming the office of deputy dean of School of Mathematics, Fudan University.
