Faculty Positions

The School of Mathematical Sciences at Zhejiang University invites applications for both tenure-track and tenured positions in all areas of mathematics. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in mathematics, with at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience in principle, and demonstrate outstanding accomplishments and promises in both research and teaching. The salary the School offers is merit-based, negotiable, and internationally competitive. In addition, the University provides various housing assistance depending on ranks and qualifications.

The deadline for applications for tenure-track positions is December 1st, 2025 (applications submitted after the deadline might be considered but not guaranteed). Applications for tenured positions shall be accepted on a rolling basis with no specific deadlines. Candidates for tenure-track positions should furnish a placement dossier consisting of

2.a curriculum vitae

3.a research statement

4.a teaching statement

5.three letters of recommendation addressing research (to be provided directly by the referees).
