摘要：The world knows Évariste Galois as an algebraist—the founder of group theory and Galois theory, the tragic genius who penned his legendary testament on the eve of a fatal duel. Today, however, I wish to introduce you to a little-known Galois: Galois the analyst. I will reveal that within that famous letter, he actually outlined a series of astonishing analytical conceptions and grand blueprints: concerning Abelian integrals, their periods, the global topology of algebraic curves, and transformations of Abelian integrals. These ideas were profoundly ahead of their time; it took the mathematical community decades to fully comprehend and realize his vision.
