Abstract: Inthis talk, I will introduce some rigidity theorems for the Obata equationon manifolds with boundary with different kinds of boundary conditions, as wellas some applications. One application is in the rigidity theorems ofPoincare-Einstein manifolds; and the other is in the first eigenvalue problemson manifolds with boundary. This is joint work with Mijia Lai andXuezhang Chen.
