摘要：In this talk I will survey the min-max construction of minimal hypersurfaces, with an emphasis on the appraoch using Allen-Cahn approximation. I will also discuss the multiplicity one conjecture of Marques and Neves, and the role of transition layer regularity theory for Allen-Cahn equation in the resolution of this conjecture in dimension 3.
